Two men were arrested Thursday night on numerous charges following the execution of a drug search warrant at a southern Johnston County home.
Following a one month investigation, agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division searched a home on Highland Trace Lane off Elevation Road outside of Benson. During the search, agents reportedly seized methamphetamines, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, and 5 guns.
Agents said one of the guns had the barrel illegally shortened. One gun had the serial number removed. Another firearm had been reported stolen in Harnett County.
Alfredo Molina Jr., 35, of the 7300 block of Elevation Road was charged with possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver methamphetamines, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, carrying a concealed gun, possession of drug paraphernalia and altering a serial number on a firearm. Bail was set at $250,000.
Tomas Guerra, 36, of Highland Trace Lane, Benson was charged with felony possession of methamphetamines and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was placed at $50,000.
