A Selma woman was arrested Thursday night for felony heroin possession and maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.
At 11:48pm, a Johnston County deputy stopped a car on Highway 42 West near I-40 in Cleveland. The driver, 30 year-old Brittany Meagan Dehart of Pecan Estates Lane, was reportedly acting suspicious during the traffic stop. She allegedly told the officer she didn’t have anything illegal in the vehicle. During a search of the car, 10 bundles of suspected heroin were allegedly found in a cigarette pack.
Dehart was transported to the Johnston County Jail and held under a $10,000 secured bond.
