Homeless Sex Offender Arrested For Child Rape

A man on the NC Sex Offender Registry has been arrested on allegations he sexually assaulted an 11 year-old girl.

Daniel Arthur Louk, 40, was reportedly homeless and living on the streets of Cumberland County when he was arrested this week.  Previously, in Wayne County, Louk was living with the mother of the juvenile victim when the alleged offenses occurred.

Louk was charged by Wayne County sheriff’s detectives with statutory sex offense of a child and statutory rape of a child.  Louk was held under a $1 million bond.
