Two Smithfield residents were arrested on felony methamphetamine possession charges after a deputy went to a home to serve a warrant.
Around 9:00am Sunday, the officer went to an address in the 4900 block of Highway 210 to serve two warrants on Christine Michelle Woodall, 32, for felony identity theft. Authorities said Brian Keith Davis, 38, answered the door. Davis was also wanted for a felony identity theft warrant.
In plain view, the arresting officer allegedly saw methamphetamine in the home.
Woodall and Davis were arrested on their outstanding warrants. They were also charged with meth possession, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Woodall was held under a $50,000 bond in the Johnston County Jail. Davis was incarcerated under a $30,000 bond.
