JCSO: Two Drug Arrests Made During Traffic Stop

CLAYTON – Two people were arrested on felony charges during a traffic stop March 9th on Cornwallis Road near the intersection of Cleveland Road. A Johnston County Sheriff narcotics officer stopped a Ford Explorer for a violation.

During a probable cause search, approximately 17 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 2 grams of marijuana, Xanax, and drug paraphernalia was reportedly found.

Dennis Dean Benson Jr., 37, of the 7500 block of US Highway 301 South, Four Oaks and Crystal Lynn Wallace, 37, of S. Carrie Street, Coats were both charged with three felony drug offenses.

Benson was confined in the Johnston County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond. Wallace was held under a $20,000 bond.

    • Dennis maybe your documented criminal activity in Johnston County, as far back as 2011, has had an adverse effect on your partner. Neither of you look like your past mug shots.

      • Idk who you think you are but from what u just said doc it’s been since 2011 for her so it’s been 11 years. So yes ppl do age over the years DOC AND SJH we got this it’s all good. These ppl just need to keep their nose in their own da*n business. She’s never been in trouble neither drugs and she da*n sure don’t do them. Thanks for running those mouths about my wife bc it gives us something to laugh at. Haha.
