Jim Perry Stadium Makes Improvements

Buies Creek – Campbell continued upgrades to Jim Perry Stadium with the addition of new turf behind home plate.

ProGrass Turf recently installed the 2,300 square foot addition, spanning between the home and visiting team dugouts.

The new turf is the latest of several recent enhancements to Jim Perry Stadium. Campbell also has plans for Jim Perry Stadium to receive another major addition, Jim and Daphne Perry Pavilion.

Jim-Perry-Stadium-FIThe new addition would add approximately 200 chair back seats, increasing stadium seating capacity to more than 1,000 seats and would provide new offices for the entire baseball staff, a state-of-the-art locker room and a new in-ground dugout. The Jim and Daphne Perry Pavilion will boast a 1,200 square foot VIP viewing deck and will provide a new home for the entire Campbell baseball operation.

Over the last four seasons, the Camels own 163 wins, averaging nearly 41 per year, with eight All-America selections, four Academic All-Americans, nine professional contracts, including a record three MLB Draft picks in 2015, 25 all-conference picks, as well as an outstanding 3.02 team GPA.

The Camels will open the 2016 season on February 19, hosting Miami (Ohio) at Jim Perry Stadium.

2016 season tickets for all 34 home dates are now on sale and available for just $75 at GoCamels.com.
