Juvenile Group Home Employee Accused Of Having Sex With Minor

An employee at a Clayton-area juvenile group home was arrested this morning (Friday) on allegations she had a sexual relationship with a minor staying at the facility.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jennifer Marie Koch, 33, of Pine Lane, Clayton today and charged her with a single count of committing a sexual act by a custodian.

On February 6th, investigators said they received a report Koch allegedly encouraged the minor to runaway from the group home on Fort Drive and meet her to have sex. Koch also reportedly sent inappropriate photos to the 16 year-old minor on his cell phone.  The alleged sexual relationship began around December 26th, 2019 according to authorities.
