A law enforcement K-9 alerted on a large quantity of illegal drugs during a traffic stop Sunday. Agents with the Goldsboro – Wayne County Drug Task Force stopped a car they said was occupied by Al Jerome Dunn, 44, of Dudley.
During the traffic stop, K-9 “Shorty” reportedly alerted to the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of approximately 3.8 pounds of cocaine.
Dunn was charged with trafficking cocaine by possession, trafficking cocaine by transportation, and maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance. He was confined in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $1 million bond.
