WENDELL – Last week, KIOTI Tractor hosted students and instructors from the Johnston Community College Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology Program at its Wendell, NC based headquarters.
Part of an ongoing relationship with the community college, the day included a tour of the facility, a hydraulic training class, and a machine ride-and-drive, offering the students a first-hand look at the world of equipment manufacturing.
Additionally, as a part of the ongoing partnership, KIOTI donated engines, parts and training simulators to the school’s program to provide students with hands-on experience.
“KIOTI Tractor is proud to support the local agriculture industry with technicians that can confidently meet the growing job demand at nearby dealerships, rental yards, farms and even here at KIOTI Tractor,” said Allan May, KIOTI product support representative supervisor. “Our team looks forward to continued success in our partnership with JCC, by giving students access to the latest technology and training in the diesel industry.”
