Law enforcement officers have arrested a suspect who allegedly stole five catalytic converters from two locations near Princeton last month. Daniel Lee Sullivan, 37, of Rains Crossroads Road, Princeton is charged with larceny of motor vehicle parts and attempted larceny.
On November 5th, a resident on Rains Mill Road near Princeton reported his pickup had been damaged by someone attempting to steal the catalytic converter. The following day, November 6th, the same victim reported that someone had returned and stolen the catalytic converter from the same truck.
On November 7th, a homeowner on Princeton-Kenly Road near Princeton reported Sullivan went onto his property claiming he was looking for his lost dog. After an hour he left. The following day, Sullivan allegedly returned claiming he was still searching for his dog. Later, the victim discovered four catalytic converters were missing from his vehicles.
Sullivan was arrested November 26th and held on a $25,000 secured bond.
