Man Arrested After Repeatedly Calling 911, JCSO Says

CLAYTON – A man who reportedly dialed the Johnston County 911 Center repeatedly, even though he did not have an emergency, is facing criminal charges. Terence Aubrey Williams, Jr., 39, of Pandora Circle, Erwin was arrested around 2:00am on Monday, October 18th.

Deputies with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said Williams repeatedly dialed 911 cursing at dispatchers. There was no emergency or need for him to dial 911, authorities allege.

Williams was arrested on Anna Drive off NC Highway 42 West. He was charged with misuse of the 911 system and resisting a public officer. He was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
