Man Arrested For Slashing Trump Sign During Nov. 3rd Rally

An arrest has been made in the vandalism of a large Donald Trump sign during his rally at The Farm on November 3rd.

The large blue and white sign was on a trailer and parked in front of the The Farm on Batten Road for the political rally when someone used a knife to slash the bottom of the sign.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 22 year-old Alejandro Melchor Zavala of the 4400 block of US 70 Business West, Clayton.  Zavala was charged with injury to property. He was released on a $500 bond pending an appearance in district court.
