Man Buys $30,000 Car With Stolen Identity, Police Say

Police say a stolen identity was used to buy a car worth more than $30,000. Back in April, a woman reported her identity and personal information had been stolen.  Last month, the woman’s identity was used at Toyota of Goldsboro to buy a vehicle.

Goldsboro Police have identified the suspect as Jerad Dobruch of Southport, NC.  Dobruck is wanted by police on warrants charging him with identity theft and obtaining property by false pretenses.

Raleigh Police are also investigating a fraud and forgery case involving the same victim.
