SELMA – Law enforcement officers said they seized suspected methamphetamine after stopping a bicyclist. Around 2:00am Monday, a patrol deputy located a suspicious person riding a bicycle in the 5200 block of Highway 301 North of Selma.
The officer stopped to speak with the bicyclist and reportedly observed him toss a small bag into the ditch. The officer retrieved the bag and located suspected methamphetamine inside.
ChristopherWayne Aycock, 51, of W.C. Braswell Road, Selma was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Aycock was held on a $10,000 secured bond.
