Man Shot And Killed Dog During Domestic Incident, JCSO Says

Animal cruelty, breaking and entering, and first-degree trespassing charges have been filed against a 43 year-old Johnston County man who allegedly shot and killed a dog during a domestic incident.

Law enforcement officers responded to a home near Clayton around 12:25AM Sunday.  Authorities allege Francis Joseph Gebo of Big Pine Road, Clayton shot the dog in the head during the domestic incident.

Gebo was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and given a $10,000 bond on the three charges. Deputies also seized a firearm as evidence in the case.
