A Johnston County man was arrested on felony drug charges during a traffic stop on Swift Creek Road in Wilson’s Mills around Noon on Tuesday.
A SAFE team deputy conducted a routine traffic stop on a Chevy Impala. During the stop, the SAFE team officer reportedly found 20 grams of marijuana in the vehicle along with a digital scale.
Brian Thomas Holloway, 26, of Salerno Drive, Clayton was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Holloway’s car was impounded. He was jailed under a $5,000 bond.
