Meth, Cocaine, Firearm Found During Search Warrant

WILLOW SPRING – Two people were arrested by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division during the execution of a search warrant at a western Johnston County home. Following an undercover investigation, agents executed the search warrant April 12 at 1435 Landmark Road, Willow Spring.

Kelli Michelle Walker, age 35, of Clayton and Ernest Bryant King, age 43, of Four Oaks were arrested at the address.

Agents reportedly found approximately 15.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 1.2 grams of cocaine, 25 doses of Suboxone, 9mm handgun, drug paraphernalia, and items used for the sell and delivery of a controlled substance. The methamphetamine and cocaine had an estimated street value of $1,700.

Walker was charged with numerous offenses including possession of a firearm by a felon, felony conspiracy, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, and possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a controlled substance. She was held on a $175,000 bond at the Johnston County Jail.

King was arrested on similar charges including possession of a firearm by a felon, felony conspiracy, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, and sell of a controlled substance. He was incarcerated under a $500,000 secured bond.

Law enforcement officials said the two suspects had been under investigation for approximately three months prior to their arrests.
