A methamphetamine lab and stolen property were found at a rural Johnston County home overnight. Johnston County deputies said they found a meth lab at a home in the 5400 block of Flower Hill Road outside of Kenly. While at the home a stolen go cart was also located.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said a search warrant was being conducted at the home on Friday looking for other possible stolen goods.
David Larry Peacock Jr., 41, of Flower Hill Road, Kenly and Cynthia Ann Davis, 48, of the 12000 block of Highway 42 East, Kenly were arrested. Both are charged with manufacturing methamphetamines, possess-distribute meth precursors, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony conspiracy, and misdemeanor larceny. Peacock was also charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance.
Peacock was jailed Friday under a $151,000 bond. Davis was jailed under a $150,000 bond.
