Johnston County deputies and NC Probation and Parole officers reportedly found methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia during the search of a home Friday. Probation officers said they went to the residence of Amanda Marie Strickland at 283 Heath Road, Four Oaks to check on the 31 year-old woman who was currently on probation.
After arriving and reportedly spotting drugs inside the home, probation officers called deputies to assist.
Suspected methamphetamine, and several types of prescription pills including Oxycodone and Xanax were reportedly found.
Strickland and a second person, Eddie Houston Jackson Jr., 46, of Lee Road, Dunn were charged with several drug violations including felony possession of methamphetamines, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Strickland was also charged with felony probation violation. Jackson was later charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
