Meth Seized During Brogden Traffic Stop

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office seized methamphetamines from a vehicle during a traffic stop.

On Wednesday, May 29th at 1:52pm, a SAFE Team deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 4000 block of Grabtown Road in the Brodgen community east of Smithfield.

During the traffic stop, the deputy reportedly found suspected methamphetamines on the passenger floorboard and rear passenger area of the vehicle.  Also, a smoking pipe and marijuana were allegedly located.

The driver, 45 year-old Donna Michelle Lee of Ridge Drive, Angier and two passengers, Alysha Marie Harvie, 35, of N. Virginia Street, Goldsboro, and Kenneth Ray Spruill Jr., 29, of S. John Street, Goldsboro were arrested.

All three suspects were charged with felony possession of methamphetamines.  Harvie was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Spruill was additionally charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Deputies also impounded the Hyundai that Lee was operating at the time of the traffic stop.
