An investigation into a reported stolen truck has led to the arrest of a Four Oaks woman and her teenage son.
Last week, Johnston County deputies said they took a report from 18 year-old Brian Austin McLamb of Via Capri Way reporting his truck had been stolen. McLamb’s mother, Sandra Lynn McLamb, 48, of the same address allegedly provided information to officers backing up her son’s story.
Authorities later learned the truck had been involved in a roll over accident on Highway 210 near the owners home prior to the truck being reported stolen.
Brian McLamb was charged Tuesday with filing a false police report and misdemeanor conspiracy. He was given a $3,500 bond.
Sandra McLamb was charged with resisting a public officer and misdemeanor conspiracy. She was given a $5,000 bond on the charges.
