A Newton Grove man was accused of sexually exploiting a minor after deputies got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
David Ignacio Ocampo-Segura, 21, is charged with 26 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Lt. Marcus Smith of the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office said investigators received a tip “regarding inappropriate activities.”
“Upon investigating, enough probable cause was established to charge the suspect,” he told The Daily Record.
Ocampo-Segura was being held in the Sampson County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.
He is set to appear in court again on April 16.
