Willie May Webber Marcum, 73, of Goldsboro passed away at UNC Wayne on September 17, 2024. She was born in Portsmouth, Va. on December 10, 1950, to the late John Edward Webber and Georgette Vereen Webber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Webber and sisters, Jackie, Betty, and Millie.
Willie May Marcum was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was married to the love of her life, Gary Sr. for 51 years. She also enjoyed her pets through the years including Jack Russels and cats. Willie May also loved working in her yard and flower gardening. One of her favorite things to do was spending time with her family and friends. She had compassion for those around her. Those who knew and loved her will miss her, but will also be comforted by the assurance of knowing she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Dale Marcum, Sr.; son, Gary Dale Marcum, Jr. and wife Crystal; and grandchildren, Garrett Marcum and Kaitlynn Marcum.
A graveside service will be held at a later date to be announced at Hillcrest Cemetery, Conway, S.C.
