Alice was a graduate of Johnston County Training School (JCTS) class of 1955. She was an employee of K.R. Edwards Leaf Tobacco Company where she retired from. She married Mr. Lamonia Debnam.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donnie and Deboriah Jones, husband Lamonia Debnam, two brothers Donnie Clementine Jr. and Linwood Hamp, four sisters Flossie Clementine, Omie Mae, Donna Maria, Virgie Madgalene and a very special friend Monroe Davis.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her beloved daughter Jacquelyn Watson (Howard), one grandson Minister Howard Shorron (Ebony), one granddaughter Anika Latrise (James) four great grandchildren; Anton Jared, Howard Shorron II, Latya Joy’el and Chassie Emani, one sister-in-love Sylvia Debnam Massenburg, one brother-in-love Archie Sanders and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Debnam will be held Thursday January 3, 2019 at Shiloh Christian Church 209 Durham St Smithfield, NC. A “SongFest” in her honor will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon followed by a Celebration of Life at Noon.
