Pine Level – Carroll Gregg Kornegay, age 74, died early Tuesday morning, February 7, 2017. Born August 6, 1942 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Graham and Mavis Brown Kornegay. He was preceded in death by his son, Carroll Gregg Kornegay II; brother, Winslon Kornegay; and sister, Joan Wright and Sandra Kornegay.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 in Oliver Cemetery.
Surviving are his daughter, Michelle Kornegay of Princeton and Raquel Kornegay of Selma; brother, Kester Kornegay of Pine Level; grandchildren, Melissa Rains, Justice Rains, Christian Bill, Vince Connell, and Sebastion Connell; and great granddaughter, Kelsey Connell.
