Cornelia “Connie” Carter Pittman, 78, of Princeton passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Connie was born in Washington, DC on December 13, 1941. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Palmer Carter and Mildred Cornelia Snipes Carter.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Eddie Aycock, Jr. and Eddie Aycock officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
She is survived by her husband, Jeromie Lee “J. L.” Pittman of Princeton; sons, Richard Rinehart and wife, Melissa of Princeton, Edward Aycock and wife, Carol of Huntsville, Alabama, and James Rinehart and wife, Bonnie of Princeton; daughter, Tammy Pittman Mizelle and husband, David of Washington, NC; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
