Clayton – Ethel M. Bennett, age 73, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at her home. Born March 4, 1947 in Steuben County, NY to Cecilia Jean Briggs and the late Robert R. Williams. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert B. Williams. She worked as a cashier with the Regal Cinemas in Garner until the closed. She was a 1965 graduate of Otto-Eldred Jr. – Sr. High School in Duke Center, PA.
No formal services are planned in North Carolina. A graveside service will be conducted at a later date in Allegany Cemetery in Allegany, NY.
Surviving are her husband, Donald S. Bennett; children, Tammy K. Bennett of Raleigh and Daniel S. Bennett and wife Cordelia Warden of Clayton, NC; sisters, Rosemary Fitzsimmons, Viva Ellis and husband John and Kathy Thompson Kimball; grandchildren, Kyle Zuza, Joshua Boazman, Kayla (Kaile) Stanley, Kailey Hart, Katelyn Bennett, Devon Bennett, Krysta Hammonds, Dylan Bennett and Ariel Bennett and nine great-grandchildren.
