Gladys Underwood Spence, 86, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 3:00pm at Everett Chapel FWB Church with Rev. Stanley Kirby and Rev. Lloyd Hargis officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, LaRue Lowe of Selma; a sister, Ann Haddock of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Tracy Brown of Selma and her great grandson, Nolan David Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Spence; a son, Bobby W. Spence; sister, Elizabeth Moore; brothers, Raeford Underwood and Prentice Underwood; grandson, Linwood Wayne Harper.
