Smithfield – James Paul Allen age 74 passed away Tuesday November 3, 2020 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. He was born in Johnston County on February 21, 1946 to the late James Willie Allen and Lessie Holloman Allen. In addition to his parents Mr. Allen is also preceded in death by a son, James Randy Allen.
A grave side service will be conducted on Sunday November 8, 2020 at 2 PM in Thompson Family Cemetery. He is survived by wife of 54 years, Saundra Thompson Allen; daughter Angela Wadsworth and husband Wes of Smithfield; grandchildren, Sara, Austin and Ava Wadsworth.
Mr. Allen was a member at Princeton Church of God and enjoyed goat farming. Mr. Allen retired from Grifols after 27 years of loyal service.
