Dunn, NC: Mrs. Mary Sandra Walston Weaver, age 76 of NC Hwy 55 East, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at her residence. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Dunn, NC. Rev. Billy Keith will officiate.
Mrs. Weaver was born on September 14, 1944 in Harnett County to the late Cullen and Mary Pauline Kennedy Walston. She was preceded in death by her son, William Mack Weaver, Jr. She retired from the Keith Hills’ pro shop after many years and was a member of Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, Dunn.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William Mack “Bill” Weaver, Sr.; daughter, Sharon Weaver Lucas and husband, Kenny of Crumpler; grandchildren, Christopher Hilliard of Illinois, Kenneth Brandon Lucas of Abington, VA, and David Bradley Lucas of Crumpler; great-grandchildren, Toby Mack Abel Tadlock; Baby Lucas expected February 5, 2021; sister, Joy Walston of Holly Ridge; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 9:45AM to 10:45AM in the sanctuary of Prospect Free Will Baptist Church prior to graveside and other times at the home.
