Clayton – Richard Allen Swickard, age 69, died Monday, October 26, 2020 at his home. Born October 11, 1951 in Stark County, OH he was a son of the late Ernest Cable and Betty Bates Swickard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laurie Swickard; and sister, Adele Mathis. Richard was a Vietnam Veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Army. His passion was teaching. Richard enjoyed teaching and did so for many years at SSS High School in Smithfield.
Surviving are his sister, Debbie Swickard; brother, Bob Swickard, both of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
