Pair Breaks Into Locker Room During High School Basketball Game

Two men have been arrested for their alleged roles in a break-in last month at West Johnston High School during a basketball game.

While the boy’s basketball team was on the court, the pair is accused of breaking into their locker room and stealing items from four players.  The suspects were identified by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office after reviewing video security footage during the December 11th game at the school on Raleigh Road outside of Benson.

Jordan Tyler Benson, 20, of Grill Road, Clayton and Cameron Elijah Hairston, 18, of Round Pond Circle, Angier were each charged Jan. 6th with three felonies: breaking and entering, larceny, and conspiracy. Bail was set at $50,000.
