SMITHFIELD – Two people have been charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering.
Michael Shawn Webster, age 31, of unknown address, Smithfield and Hallie Boivin Sherrill, age 25, of Amsterdam Drive, Archer Lodge are accused of stealing a generator, video game headset, and bicycle from a barn behind a residence on Crocker Road, east of Smithfield. The alleged theft occurred on April 15.
Webster was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
During the break-in, a window valued at $200 was reportedly damaged.
Authorities believe at least one of the suspects was acquainted with the victim.
