Parent Accused Of Trespassing On School Bus, Threatening Students

A parent has been arrested after she allegedly trespassed on a Johnston County Public Schools elementary school bus and threatened several students.

WTSB News has learned the incident occurred Tuesday afternoon at a bus stop on Shadowwood Road outside of Benson.

A bus from Four Oaks Elementary School had stopped to allow a student off the bus when a parent, identified as 31 year-old Alonda Lotasha Quick of Shadowwood Road, reportedly entered the bus and began yelling at the driver and several children.  The driver immediately asked Quick to exit the bus. Before leaving, Quick reportedly told several elementary students to leave her child alone or she would “drag their a**es off the bus.”

The incident was not reported by school officials to law enforcement authorities until Wednesday morning.   Wednesday afternoon, Quick was arrested at her home and charged by Johnston County deputies with communicating threats and second degree trespassing.

No students on board the bus were injured.
