Pedestrians Struck In McDonald’s Parking Lot

CLAYTON – Two pedestrians were struck and injured Wednesday morning in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Flowers Commerce Drive near Buffalo Road.

Just before 9:00am, a silver passenger car struck the pedestrians, reportedly as they were leaving the restaurant. Both victims were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

A witness said the male victim tried to push the female victim out of the way, however both were struck and injured. We have not been able to confirm that information.

The State Highway Patrol responded to investigate. Troopers have not released any information about the accident. The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene.
