Prescription Pills Found Inside Baby Cereal Container, JCSO Says

SELMA – A search warrant at a Selma area home has led to charges.  On July 13th, detectives with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block Wiggs Road and reportedly seized a number of prescription pills along with drug paraphernalia.  Some of the pills had reportedly been hidden inside a baby cereal container.

Authorities said the suspect, Brandy Nicole Bridgers of Wiggs Road, Selma did not have a prescription for the pills.

On July 20th, Bridgers was located in the parking lot of McDonald’s in Smithfield and taken into custody on outstanding warrants.  She was charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of simple possession of a controlled substance.  Bridgers was given a $5,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.
