A Princeton man was arrested Thursday and held under a $45,000 bond after reportedly being linked by sheriff’s deputies to two crimes last month.
Elliot Ryan Godwin, 28, of Eddie Drive, Princeton is accused of stealing a Chevy Silverado pickup truck from the driveway of a neighbor’s home on October 12th. The stolen $15,000 pickup truck was later recovered in Wayne County.
On October 14th, Godwin is accused of breaking into a barn behind a home on Old Moore Road outside of Selma stealing copper wiring valued at $600. Godwin reportedly moved a truck parked at the home. Although he didn’t steal the vehicle he is accused of stealing the key to the truck.
Godwin was charged Oct. 31st with larceny of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, breaking and entering, and larceny.
