Report: Benson Man Caught With Narcotics, Counterfeit Money

A Benson man was arrested on five criminal charges after being found at a home outside of Four Oaks.  Deputies received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind a home on Juniper Church Road around 11:00pm Sept. 25th.

Deputies said they located Joseph Kent Woodall, 37, of Blaze Court, Benson outside his car at the residence. In plain view, officers said they saw drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. During a search, suboxone, marijuana and $320 in counterfeit money was allegedly located.

Woodall was charged with felonious possession of counterfeit currency and four misdemeanor drug violations.  He was transported to the Johnston County Jail where a magistrate set his bail at $50,000.
