PRINCETON – A man arrested for breaking into a Johnston County convenience store reportedly did so to find shelter from the cold temperatures.

Joshua Charles Cowdrey was arrested around 12:10am Thursday, January 9 at Ormond’s Convenient Mart at 9610 US 70 Business East in Princeton.
Princeton Police and Johnston County deputies arrived to find Cowdrey at the scene. He reportedly made entry minutes earlier by using a shovel to break through a glass door.
An arrest report said the 41 year-old man is homeless. Temperatures were in the 20’s when the break-in occurred.
Cowdrey was transported to the Johnston County Detention Center and charged with breaking and entering.
Well, he’s got a warm place to stay now..🤔
Now he has shelter.
and three meals..
Aren’t you clever? It’s almost like he thought of this before you.
Hope he gets straight soon and can get a home of his own. Speaking of, my property tax just went up 100%. I might be joining him soon looking for shelter. And a pack of cigs. Hopefully Trump can turn things around. And quickly.
I was thinking…he wanted shelter. And food. And a bathroom. Now he has all of that. Sometimes I think that is why low-level crimes are committed.
Just waite it’s going to get worse after the felon gets in office. I feel bad for the homeless guy but still.diesnt justify breaking into a business.
I’d like to know what Trump has to do with this
