SAFE Team Deputies Make Meth Arrests

Johnston County Sheriff SAFE Team deputies made two unrelated felony drug arrests over-the-weekend.

Around 12:30am Saturday, a SAFE Team deputy stopped a car on Hillgrove Drive in the Willow Spring community for a traffic violation.  An occupant in the vehicle, 30 year-old Hugo Gomez Aguirre of Ridge Road, Angier reportedly had a clear bag in his pants pocket containing one gram of suspect methamphetamines.  Aguirre was charged with felony possession of meth and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bail was set at $10,000.

Around 11:30pm Saturday, a SAFE Team officer located a suspicious vehicle in the 13000 block of Highway 50 North.  The driver, Juan Antonio Reyes, 37, of White Memorial Church Road, Willow Spring was allegedly found to have 3 grams of suspected methamphetamines in his vehicle.   Reyes was charged with felony possession of meth and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bail was set at $10,000.
