Search Warrant Leads To Charges Against Three Suspects

WILLOW SPRING – Three people were charged following the execution of a search warrant December 16th. Agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office narcotics division searched a home at 3510 Sanders Road, Willow Spring.

During the search suspected methamphetamine and marijuana was reportedly seized.

Colton Junius Hockaday, 31, of Morgan Road, Benson was charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hockaday was held on a $20,000 bond.

Autum Cheyenne Barefoot, 24, of Autry Mill Road, Dunn was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was served with an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court for a driving while license revoked case in 2020. She was given a $2,500 bond on the drug charges plus an additional $500 bond on the failure to appear warrant.

Regina Hayes Wheeler, 58, of Morgan Road, Benson was charged with simple possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
