Search Warrant Leads To Four Drug Arrests

FOUR OAKS – Four people were arrested after narcotic agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant. It happened September 3rd in the 9000 block of Highway 301 South of Four Oaks at the home of Britton Scott Moore.

Investigators said an ongoing investigation resulted in the drug raid.   Moore, 37, and three others at the address were arrested after suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and a handgun with an altered serial number were located.

Moore was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, and possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance.

Angela Kathleen Coats, 40, of N. 17th Street, Erwin was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was served with four outstanding warrants for her arrest for failing to appear in court for trespassing, misdemeanor larceny, obtaining property by false pretense, and breaking and entering.

Lisa Marie Parker, 32, of Wiget Lane, Willow Spring was charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Bruce Wayne Hatcher, 31, of Marie Court, Willow Spring was charged with possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, simple possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hatcher was arrested on two failure to appear warrants for driving on a revoked license and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

All four suspects were confined in the Johnston County Jail.   Moore was held on a $100,000 bond, Coats on a $31,250 bond, Parker $15,000 bail, and Hatcher $25,000 bail.
