Second Suspect Linked To Construction Site Thefts

weaver-worrells-mugsMore charges have been filed in connection with a string of thefts from new home construction sites in Johnston County.

Last week, Glenwood Alvin Worrells, 44, of Pondfield Drive, Princeton was linked by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office to 3 of the 16 thefts that have been reported.

On Monday, sheriff’s detectives linked Worrells and a second man to an August 17th break-in on Farmland Circle near Clayton where HVAC units were stolen from a new home site.

The second suspect was identified as Henry Brian Weaver, 37, of Stallings Road, Spring Hope.

Detectives have recovered some of the stolen property taken during the beak-ins and recently conducted a search warrant in Wake County as part of the ongoing investigation.
