Selma Man Arrested On Drug Charges During Traffic Stop

KENLY – A 21 year-old Selma man was arrested Saturday night during a traffic stop on Highway 222 about two miles west of Kenly.

At 7:31pm, a Johnston County deputy sheriff stopped a vehicle. During the traffic stop approximately 2.75 ounces of suspected marijuana and marijuana wax were located.

The driver, Curtis Gene Wiggs of the 1600 block of Highway 39 North, Selma, was charged felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.  He was given a $10,000 secured bond.
