A Walmart shoplifting suspect is facing a felony drug charge. On Saturday, March 20th around 1:30pm, a deputy with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Walmart at 5141 Highway 42 West, Garner in the Cleveland community.
Prior to their arrive, store loss prevention personnel had reportedly stopped Robert Arthur Breedlove, 49, of Mountain Top Drive, Garner from leaving with $821.67 in merchandise he had not paid for. Some of the items, including batteries, electronics and pants, had allegedly been concealed inside a cardboard fan box.
The deputy arrived and searched Breedlove’s pockets and reportedly found a small bag contained suspected heroin.
Breedlove was charged with possession of heroin. He was given a $1,000 bond.
