Shots Fired From Two Vehicles During I-40 Road Rage Incident

GARNER – The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in providing information regarding an alleged road rage incident Saturday afternoon in southern Wake County.

Deputies received a call around 12:30PM and responded to the area of I-40 East between Highway 70 in Garner and the Highway 70 Clayton Bypass, near the Wake-Johnston County line.

The vehicles involved were a newer model dark gray Chevrolet Impala driven by a Hispanic male and a tan Mitsubishi car with tinted windows driven by a black male. According to a witness, shots were fired from both vehicles.
