Smithfield Woman Arrested For Break-In, Larceny

CLAYTON – A Smithfield woman was arrested Tuesday and held on a $55,000 bond at the Johnston County Jail. Kimberly Carol Pilkington, 40, of Red House Road, is accused of breaking into property June 17 on Ayden Drive near Clayton stealing a Toro push mower.

Johnston County deputies later recovered the stolen mower, valued at $390, from a location on Norris Road.

Pilkington was arrested August 10th and charged with breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, and obtaining property by false pretense.
