Substitute Teacher Charged With Sex Acts Involving Student

SAMPSON COUNTY – A substitute teacher in Sampson County has been arrested. The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office has charged Tiffany Rose Williams, age 32, of Old Salemburg Road, Salemburg with two counts of sexual acts with a student, one count of indecent liberties with a student, and one count of taking indecent liberties with a child.

On November 23, the sheriff’s office received a complaint through the Lakewood District School Resource Officer regarding an alleged inappropriate relationship between a substitute teacher and a student.

Following an investigation, Tiffany Rose Williams was arrested. She was held under a $40,000 secured bond.

The sheriff’s office said no further information will be released due to the case involving a juvenile. They did however state that no activity occurred on the school’s campus and school officials have been fully cooperative with the investigation.
