Clayton Police arrested a 29-year-old, Jerry Daeshon Anderson of Clayton, following a domestic dispute on Hobbs Street Friday night.
Anderson is charged with damage to property and resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer.
The female victim who lives in the home called police and alleged that Anderson threw a beer can at a window breaking it before he fled from the scene.
Several passersby spotted Anderson and notified law enforcement. Officers captured Anderson after he ran from officers on foot. Officers chased Anderson through shopping center parking lots, eventually finding and arresting him near a fast-food restaurant on the corner of US 70 Hwy and Champion Street.
Clayton Police were assisted by Johnston County sheriff deputies.
Anderson was transported to the Johnston County Detention Center and held on a $1,000 secured bond. Photos by John Payne
