Suspect Arrives At Home During Narcotics Search Warrant

FOUR OAKS – A Four Oaks man was held on a $100,000 bond after his arrest by narcotics officers with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.  Two others were charged with misdemeanors.

Saturday afternoon, agents were in the process of executing a search warrant at 102 Pine Tree Lane, off Spring Lake Road, when a white minivan arrived at the residence but attempted to leave. Agents were able to stop the minivan.

Allen Brian Rose, 48, of 102 Pine Tree Lane, allegedly had heroin, codeine, suboxone and drug paraphernalia in his possession.  Rose was charged with possession of a controlled substance and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance.  He was confined in the Johnston County Jail on a $100,000 secured bond.

Two other people in the vehicle with Rose,  Ashley Nicole Dodson, 36, of Highway 210, Smithfield and Bobby Gene Barbour, 64, of Four Oaks were also arrested.  Dodson was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Barbour was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
